   Yay! Y’all are in Peru! A favorite place of my daughter’s when she was traveling last year. You will find Cusco air much better…you planning on going there? Inca Trail? M. Picchu? I have so very much enjoyed following the Moore family adventures thus far:)Thank you for your thorough descriptions, funny observations, educational info. and cautionary tales! What a wonderful year of cultural immersion for all of you. Continue to adventure on, be safe and I look forward to your next post! Blessings to each of you:)

     Hi Heather. Yep, we’re headed to Cusco on Tuesday. We’ll spend a couple of weeks in that general area and of course visit Machu Picchu. We won’t be hiking the Inca Trail, we’ll be going the easy way (train/bus). Before coming to S. America we swapped our backpacks for a big hard-sided suitcase and a duffel bag as they are more theft-resistant. It also means no long hikes with all our stuff. No way I’m lugging that suitcase up a mountain! 😉 Glad you’ve enjoyed the blog. We’ve been finding it harder and harder to keep it up to date, but we’re still trying!
